Yesterday was Mersie’s birthday, so I would like to dedicate this post to her memory. She loved Christmas, loved having family and friends around her, loved watching her children and grandchildren open gifts. More than anything, I wish I could go back in time to revel in her happiness. To see her smile once again. More than anything, I wish I could erase disease from this world. Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a physically and emotionally healthy world? One day, we will. My Mersie is there right now.
